The summer of 2009 was definitely one to remember and I would like to thank all the volunteers who contributed to its success. As I embark on my Vice Commodore year, I look forward to working with Commodore Leslie Fog and Rear Commodore Carol List to build on our success for another exciting year. We have already planned many social activities for 2009/2010 and have tentatively posted most events on the website calendar. Listed below are the remaining social activities in 2009:

Halloween Party October 24th hosted by Hope Perry and Brandy White. This event promised to be fun for the whole family - wear a costume or come as your scary self! There will be costume prizes in various categories.

The 18^th Annual Oyster Roast hosted by Jay Kopp, Laurie Rapp and Bob Herzog will be held on Saturday November 7th. It’s not just about the oysters - Enjoy Jay’s famous Chili and roasted pig too! Don’t miss this popular tradition at CYCCM.

The “Anything but Turkey” Covered Dish Party hosted by Joan Green will be held on November 28th.

New Year’s Eve Party hosted by Pam Barsby on December 31^st. Bring in the New Year in style at CYCCM (Black Tie Optional).

Be sure to check out the website calendar to see all events planned for 2009 and 2010. The Corinthian Grill, with our standard menu food service, is open Friday and Sunday nights through the end of November.

The final big weekend of the Summer Season is upon us!  Dining, social,

and sailing opportunities abound, and do plan to attend the Annual 

Fall Meeting on Sunday September 6 at 1300 Hours.  Racing awards will

be presented for the Corinthian Series - come celebrate the achievements

of our Harbor Sailors and hear about the successes of the Offshore Fleet at 

this season-culminating event.

Get your reservation in ASAP!  You will not want to miss this last big party 

of the Summer season. It's an opportunity to celebrate our Past Commodores -

a fine group of dedicated CYCCMers, who have helped make our Club into

what it is today!
